Shift: Monday- Friday, 6am-2:30pm Plus overtime as needed

Summary: This position works in both slaughtering and processing departments.

Summary: This position works in both slaughtering and processing departments.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Other duties may be assigned:
- Prepare the livestock for processing by incapacitating and sanitizing in a humane way.
- Use a knife and hook to process carcasses.
- trim, clean and cure animal hides
- Use powered equipment such as saws.
- Wrap dressed carcasses or meat cuts.
Competency:
To perform the job successfully, an individual should demonstrate the following competencies:

- The ability to work in cold and/ or hot temperatures
- The ability to bend, lift, crouch
- The ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
- Have a strong stomach!
